An exceptional Peach Stilbite Cross (Double Terminated) from the famous zeolite deposits of Maharashtra, India, featuring an uncommon intersecting crystal habit that creates a naturally sculptural display specimen.
The centerpiece of this specimen is a large, silky peach stilbite crystal displaying attractive vertical striations and a soft pearlescent luster. Crossing the main crystal is a second, well-formed stilbite crystal, creating the rare "cross" formation that collectors actively seek. The intersecting crystals are accented by sparkling drusy crystal growth and smaller stilbite crystals, adding texture and brilliance throughout the specimen.
A small area of naturally green basalt matrix remains attached, providing attractive color contrast while preserving the specimen's volcanic origin. The overall composition is balanced and highly aesthetic, with excellent display appeal from multiple viewing angles.
Formed within ancient gas cavities of the Deccan Trap lava flows, specimens exhibiting naturally intersecting, double-terminated stilbite crystals are significantly less common than standard fan formations, making this an outstanding collector's example.

Mineralogical Notes
Stilbite is one of the most celebrated zeolite minerals, valued for its delicate crystal architecture and warm pearly luster. This specimen showcases an unusual intersecting growth habit where two primary crystals developed together, creating a naturally occurring cross formation that is rarely encountered in this quality.
Collector Notes
Cross-formed Peach Stilbite specimens are considerably scarcer than typical fan or bowtie habits. Combined with its attractive color, sharp crystal development, sparkling drusy accents, and balanced composition, this specimen is an excellent addition to any serious zeolite or Indian mineral collection.
