About Heulandite
Heulandite is a member of the zeolite mineral group and commonly forms within gas cavities of ancient basalt lava flows. The Deccan Traps of western India are among the world's premier localities for producing exceptional zeolite specimens, including beautiful peach, red, white, and colorless varieties of Heulandite.
The mineral is prized for its distinctive wedge-shaped crystals, pearly luster, and attractive pastel colors that often occur alongside Stilbite, Apophyllite, Chalcedony, and other zeolite minerals.
