A spectacular large-format Vanadinite cluster from the Mibladen Mining District of Morocco, featuring thousands of brilliant hexagonal crystals across an imposing nine-inch formation. Its exceptional crystal density, saturated coloration, and substantial 3.88-pound weight give this specimen commanding cabinet presence.
The display surfaces are crowded with vanadinite crystals ranging from tiny reflective growths to large, prominently projecting barrels. Well-developed hexagonal forms, flat terminations, stepped growth patterns, and naturally striated prism faces create a complex architectural surface. Numerous broad faces produce intense mirror-like reflections as the specimen is moved beneath the light.
Color varies beautifully throughout the formation. Transparent-to-translucent crystals glow fiery orange, amber, and honey gold, while thicker crystals deepen into scarlet, brick red, reddish brown, and burgundy. Some points display darker cores beneath brighter orange edges, emphasizing their internal zoning and crystal depth.
Crystallization extends across nearly the entire specimen, including both broad faces, the narrow perimeter, upper ridges, and lower edge. One side exposes portions of tan-to-ochre host matrix between the crystal groups, revealing how the vanadinite developed across the natural mineralized surface. Larger crystals create dramatic focal points while countless smaller barrels fill the surrounding spaces with continuous sparkle.
Measuring approximately 4.5 × 3 × 9 inches, this is an exceptionally substantial Mibladen vanadinite with outstanding coverage, rich color, multiple attractive viewing angles, and tremendous visual impact.

About Mibladen Vanadinite
The Mibladen Mining District is internationally recognized for producing highly collectible vanadinite with rich red-orange coloration and sharply developed hexagonal crystals. Vanadinite is a lead chlorovanadate mineral that commonly forms in the oxidized zones of lead-bearing deposits.
This specimen should be handled by its solid matrix whenever possible. Because vanadinite contains lead, do not grind, cut, lick, or ingest it. Wash your hands after handling and keep it away from food-preparation areas, children, and pets. Clean only with a soft, dry brush or gentle air.
